The LiveWell Experience

Insurance

  • We’re set up to work with several commercial carriers. We limit the number of carriers we accept because we only want to work with the ones that prioritize care over profits. Not many of those around these days, unfortunately.

Good news is that a few of them do. We work directly with:
    Blue Cross Blue Shield
    Providence Health Plans
    First Choice Health Network

Not with one of those? No problem.

A lot of insurance plans will still cover around 60 to 80 percent of your visit. We’ll send you a Superbill (basically a detailed receipt) so you can submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

If you’re not sure what they’ll cover, just give your insurance a quick call and ask about your out of network benefits. They’ll tell you exactly what’s what.

We’re not able to work with Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Concierge Provider / VIP

  • We offer a boutique program for those looking for that added level of attention, personalized care, and immediate access to their provider.

A concierge membership gets you all of that. We’re talking more visits, check-ins between appointments, a direct line for calls and texts, and just extra support all-around.

Members get same-day appointments, fast help with refills, and a bunch of other perks that make care feel as smooth as possible.

We keep spots very limited for concierge members… so we can actually give that extra attention.

There’s a flat monthly fee that covers all your services. That means no surprises, just easier care.

Billing and Discounts

  • We keep a card on file, and unless we’ve worked out something different, we’ll run the charge before your appointment.

Not feeling the card option? No problem. You can pay through Venmo or CashApp too.

Heads up though, we actually prefer Zelle or Bitcoin. If you go with Zelle, you’ll get a 5 percent discount, and if you’re into crypto, paying with BTC knocks 10 percent off your total.

Why go out-of-network?

  • Choosing LiveWell as your out of network provider means you’re in control, not your insurance company.

We build your treatment plan around you. This means no random rules, no insurance company limits. You can see us as often or as little as you need, no third party calling the shots.

And when it comes to privacy, you’re covered. We only share info with your insurance if you’re going after reimbursement, and even then, just the basics they ask for.

Bottom line? This setup keeps the focus where it should be: on helping you hit your goals without the headaches, restrictions, or red tape that usually come with insurance.

Our Rates

  • We keep things simple here. You pay at the time of your visit, no surprises.

Staying fee-for-service keeps it private, flexible, and it lets us focus on you without insurance companies breathing down our necks about how long we can spend with you or how often you come in.

Here’s what our self-pay rates look like:

    Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $425

    Follow Ups: $150 to $400

We always keep a full, up to date fee schedule in your new patient welcome packet, and if anything changes, you’ll hear it straight from us first.

We hate surprise bills just as much as you do.

Training the Next Generation

  • At LiveWell, we’re all about helping future clinicians get real world experience. We work with Nurse Practitioner, Medical, and Physician Assistant students to give them hands-on learning that actually prepares them for practice.

These students always work under the close supervision of our providers, and every treatment decision is a team effort between the student and the supervising clinician.

You might see students joining our sessions, whether we’re meeting over telehealth or in person. It’s part of how we help train the next wave of providers because let’s be real, the healthcare system is stretched thin, and building up the next generation matters.

Participation in the teaching program is part of working with us, and while it’s your choice, we may not be able to continue care if you choose not to have students involved.

Working with us

  • Getting a psych eval with us doesn’t automatically mean you’ll become a patient here. Sometimes, we might feel like you’d be better off with a higher level of care than we can give and if that’s the case, we’ll make sure to connect you with programs that are a better fit.

If we think we’re a good match, we’ll lay out some recommendations for your treatment. But honestly, if you’re not on board with the plan, that’s okay too. You should be working with a provider whose approach feels right for you. No hard feelings if that’s not us.

We do have some basic expectations though. We expect you to show up for appointments, answer our calls or messages, pay your bills on time, and take your meds as prescribed.

If things aren’t working out and we need to part ways, don’t stress. We’ll make sure you’ve got enough medication refills (usually about a month’s worth) to give you time to find a new provider.

Cancellations and No-Shows

  • If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, we’ll have to charge the full appointment fee to the card we’ve got on file.

In some situations, your provider may be able to waive the fee, or reduce it to $200. Please reach out to let them know you’re not going to be able to make it as soon as you can.

We get that life happens, but short notice makes it tough to fill the spot, and our time, like yours, is valuable and should be respected.

    Thanks for understanding!

Confidentiality

  • We take your privacy seriously, no question about it. We stick to all the HIPAA rules to keep your health info locked down and secure.

Everyone says that, but we actually mean it. Keeping your story private isn’t only the law, it’s an ethical obligation for people doing the work we do… and we take that  seriously.

Basically, your details stay between us, just like it should be.
