LiveWell, with us.

Helping people turn hot mess into success.

Whether you’re just starting to explore support options, switching to a new provider, or looking to boost your well-being, you’re in the right place.

At LiveWell, we focus on blending care with connection, and taking your mental health seriously while keeping things real and approachable.

Life can get messy, but with the right team in your corner, it’s a lot easier to handle.

We’ll work together to lift you up, lean into your strengths, and turn your day into a win.

Make every day a great one.

You’re more than your symptoms.

At LiveWell, we don’t follow some cookie-cutter playbook. Healing isn’t always pretty… it gets messy, personal, and sometimes uncomfortable. We work with people figuring it out as they go from college students questioning everything to adults dragging around stuff they were never meant to carry this long. Treatment with us isn’t just nodding along and circling symptoms. It’s real talk, real strategies, and actually doing the work to feel different. In person or on screen, we show up with you, no pretending, no sugarcoating. Whatever path you’re on, we’ll help you find your footing and keep moving forward. The journey starts here.

You’re a
work in progress.

Tree-lined pathway with green foliage and sunlight filtering through, creating a serene natural tunnel.

It doesn’t have to be complicated….

We’re not here to hand you a checklist and send you on your way. We take a layered approach: some clinical, some creative, and all rooted in what actually helps. We’re not chasing trends or slapping Band-Aids on bullet holes. We’re here to ask better questions, dig deeper, and get curious about what’s really fueling the stuckness.

We’re nerdy about research, picky about what we offer, and not afraid to say, “Hey, that one’s not in our toolbox… but we know a guy.”

No egos, no pretending. Just real people helping other real people get unstuck. It’s not flashy, but it’s honest… and that’s what makes it stick.

We’re here to help you with...

You’re in the Driver’s Seat

This may not always be smooth sailing, but you won’t be doing it alone. We’ll walk you through the options, explain what we’re thinking, and make sure you’re part of the planing, because at the end of the day, it’s your body, your life, and your decision.

We bring the clinical knowledge, you bring your lived experience. That’s how this works. Got questions about meds? Curious about something you read online? Bring it.

If it makes sense, we’ll explore it. If it’s not in our lane, we’ll point you to someone who can help.

We’re here to collaborate, not dictate.

What are patients saying ?

"I thought opening up would feel weird, but it was easier than I expected. Ragnar’s approach is different from the doctor I had before. He listens and he actually cares. It never felt like he’s just checking off boxes on a list. That was different, and a nice change. I could say what I needed to say without feeling weird about it."
- Chris, 34

"I thought I was gonna be all awkward and not know what to say, but it wasn’t like that at all. They made it pretty easy and actually pay attention. Like, I didn’t feel rushed or judged or anything. I could just talk, and you can tell they actually care."
- Meghan, 23

“I dragged my feet for way too long before finally booking an appointment. After I finally did it though it was like there’s no judgment or awkwardness, and it was just a nice conversation. He got where I was coming from without me having to explain every little thing. Wish I’d done it sooner."
- Steven, 28

“I was really iffy about talking to anyone about my issues at first. It’s not exactly easy to open up. After I met them though I felt more comfortable and not judged at all. Ragnar treated me like a person, and not just some guy with a problem. The whole experience was relaxed and felt more like talking to a friend who can actually help. I’m glad I did it.”
- Eddie, 42

Meet the Team

  • Founder

Around here, we don’t do BDE (big doc energy). We like to keep things down to earth and real. No nonsense, no jumping through hoops, no stiff medical vibe… just real conversations with real people. We couldn’t find anywhere that kept care direct and simple, so we started LiveWell.

Most people who come to us are dealing with way more than one thing. It’s the brain fog, the burnout, the anxiety creeping in when you’re already maxed out. Maybe your focus is shot, your mood’s all over the place, your hormones feel like they’re plotting against you, or you’re just tired of looking in the mirror and feeling like a stranger. Whatever it is, we get into it.

We cover the whole range: ADHD, anxiety, hormones, weight, sex drive, energy, all the stuff nobody really feels comfortable talking about at their typical doctor visit. And yeah, we use meds that work, like Ozempic, testosterone, and the little blue pills too (so things are only hard when you want them to be).

LiveWell is about pulling all of it together so you actually feel good waking up in your own skin. Not perfect, not chasing some fake finish line, just taking back control and writing your own life story, one page at a time.

    We’re glad you’re with us.

  • PMHNP Clinical Precept

Kelly’s the kind of psych nurse you want in your corner when stuff hits the fan. She’s been everywhere… literally. From New Hampshire to Washington, her travel nursing resume reads like a road map of psych units, and she’s handled it all without flinching. She’s got that unshakable calm that makes the rest of us feel like we accidentally walked into a wellness retreat instead of a clinic.

She and Ragnar crossed paths during an assignment in Tacoma, and between the shared dark humor and obsession with solid patient care, the partnership just clicked. She shows up for people in a way that feels personal, no scripts, no autopilot. She listens like your story matters (because it does) and helps map out care that fits your life, not just your chart.

Right now, she’s finishing her training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with us. It’s basically the NP version of residency. We’re lucky as hell to have her. She brings depth, clarity, and a ridiculous amount of heart to the team.

  • Psychiatric NP

Johnny may have eyes that wander, but his treatment plans never do. Straightforward, honest, and a little quirky, Johnny brings both sharp clinical skills and a sense of humor to the team.

  • Manager / Clinical Coordinator

Tuyet is the heartbeat of this place, and honestly, the reason everything runs smoothly. She started her career making people feel they have seen one manicure at a time, and now she’s doing the same thing in healthcare, just with a whole new skill set. With degrees from Lipscomb and South College, she brings both brains and heart to everything she touches.

She’s got a sixth sense for what people need, whether it’s a dose of calm, a good laugh, or help sorting out their meds and appointments without losing their minds. Tuyet’s the kind of person who can juggle ten things, make it look easy, and still remember how you like your coffee.

Outside the clinic? She’s probably halfway across the globe. Korea, France, China, Switzerland; her passport’s busier than most of us are. But no matter where she is, when she’s here, she shows up, fully present, ridiculously organized, and always down to make things better for the people around her.

Big or small, she nails it. Every time.

  • Chief Snack Officer

Buddy is out here living his absolute best life as our Therapy Hound and Chief Snack Officer. This German Shorthair has a knack for sniffing out both comfort and mischief, taking his duties very seriously... particularly when snacks are in play. He's all about spreading good vibes (and scavenging for treats).

When there are treats, he's your guy. Without them? You better believe he's hinting for you to fetch some. His philosophy? "No treat, no meet!"

Whether he's in charge of snack handouts or just lending an ear (or a paw), Buddy's here to make your day brighter (and to secretly increase his snack stockpile).

  • Marketing Coordinator

Jam brings a creative spark to LiveWell, blending strategy and heart in everything she does. She helps share LiveWell’s story through meaningful content, thoughtful campaigns, and moments that remind people they’re not alone in their wellness journey.

With a love for simple, genuine connection, Jam believes good stories make care feel closer and conversations feel lighter. When she’s not working on new ideas, she enjoys slow mornings, good playlists, and meaningful conversations.

  • Office Manager

Gwen is the cheerful heartbeat of LiveWell! As Office Manager, she keeps everything running smoothly, from scheduling and billing to making sure every client feels right at home. Known for her warm smile and upbeat energy, Gwen brings positivity into every interaction. When she’s not keeping the office on track, you’ll likely find her spending time with her pets, enjoying the sunshine, or exploring the great outdoors.

Her love for people, animals, and nature shines through in everything she does, making LiveWell an even brighter place to be.

The Fine Print…

  • Our portal is awesome. You can do everything in there… finish your paperwork, answer questionnaires, chat with billing or your provider, view labs, pay bills, and all kinds of other stuff too.

We’ve also got a super cool app that we’re pretty proud of. Just search LiveWell in the App Store and everything becomes even more accessible.

We’re currently listed in the Google Play Store, and Apple App Store should go active in the very near future, so stay tuned.

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield (Regence/Premera/Anthem, etc)

    • Not currently able to accept new patients with a Legacy EPO plan (but we’re working on it!)

    • Providence Health Plans

    • First Choice Health Network

      • including FCHN Kaiser plans.

    • Aetna

    • Bridgespan Health

    • Lifewise

    • Health Management Administrators (HMA)

    • United Healthcare / Optum

    Not with one of those?
    No problem.

A lot of insurance plans will still cover around 60 to 80 percent of your visit. We’ll send you a Superbill (basically a detailed receipt) so you can submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

If you’re not sure what they’ll cover, just give your insurance a quick call and ask about your out of network benefits, and they’ll tell you exactly what they’ll cover.

We’re not able to work with Medicare and Medicaid patients.

  • Still working on your deductible? It’s rough out there before the benefits kick in… but it doesn’t have to stop you from getting started on taking care of yourself.

We’ve partnered with Care Credit to offer interest free financing to help you spread out the hurt when it comes to hitting the deductible.

You can use your CareCredit card for medical, mental health, and wellness services, and then pay over time with our interest free plan, or you can opt-in to one of their different offers.

We want appointments to be accessible, and this is one of the easiest ways we’ve found to help make that easier.

  • Choosing LiveWell as your out of network provider means you’re in control instead of an insurance company.

We build your treatment plan around you. That means we’re not stuck trying to navigate random rules or insurance company limits. You can see us as often or as little as you need, and no one else ends up calling the shots for you.

In terms of privacy, we only share info with your insurance if you’re going after reimbursement, and even then, we only have to give them the basics. It’s a lot less intrusive than regular in-network claims.

If you’ve got privacy concerns, this is probably something you should seriously consider in terms of structuring your services and payments.

Bottom line: this setup keeps the focus where it should be… on helping you hit your goals without the headaches, restrictions, or red tape that usually come with insurance.

  • No one likes surprise bills, so we try to keep things as simple as possible. You pay at the time of your visit, no surprises.

If you’re using insurance, we’ll try to calculate your portion of the bill before your appointment, and will charge you your copay/coinsurance amount at the time of service.

If we’re not able to get a clear estimate on your portion of the bill, we’ll charge a $200 deposit for the appointment, and then submit the claim. After your insurance company gets back to us with their determination of the visit cost and your responsibility, we’ll either charge the card on file for the remaining balance, or refund the card on file if it was less than $200. If you need other arrangements, just let us know, and we’ll figure something out.

If you’re paying out-of-pocket, here’s what those rates look like:

    • Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $425

    • Follow Ups: $150 to $250

We always keep a full, up to date fee schedule in your new patient welcome packet, and if anything changes, it will be updated in the patient portal in a clear and accessible manner so that there’s no surprises.

We hate surprise bills just as much as you do.

  • We offer a boutique program for those looking for that added level of attention, personalized care, and immediate access to their provider.

A concierge membership gets you all of that. We’re talking more visits, check-ins between appointments, a direct line for calls and texts, and just extra support all-around.

Members get same-day appointments, fast help with refills, and a bunch of other perks that make care feel as smooth as possible.

We keep spots very limited for concierge members… so we can actually give that extra attention.

There’s a flat monthly fee that covers all your services. Concierge care means no surprises, just easy, personalized care.

Ask staff for details if interested.

  • If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, we’ll have to charge the full appointment fee to the card we’ve got on file.

In some situations, your provider may be able to waive the fee, or reduce it to $200. This is discretionary, and not guaranteed.

Please reach out to let them know you’re not going to be able to make it as soon as you can.

We get that life happens, but short notice makes it tough to fill the spot, and our time, like yours, is valuable and should be respected.

    Thanks for understanding!

  • We keep a card on file, and unless we’ve worked out something different, we’ll run the charge before your appointment.

Not feeling the card option? No problem. You can pay through Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or BTC too.

We actually prefer Bitcoin… because we’re kind of nerds and it’s cool. If you’re into crypto, paying with BTC gives you a 10% discount on your balance.

  • We’re all about helping future clinicians get real world experience. We work with Nurse Practitioner, Medical, and Physician Assistant students to give them hands-on learning that actually prepares them for practice.

These students always work under the close supervision of our providers, and every treatment decision is a team effort between the student and the supervising clinician.

You might see students joining our sessions, whether we’re meeting over telehealth or in person. It’s part of how we help train the next wave of providers. The healthcare system is stretched super thin these days, and building up the next generation of kick ass care providers is just as important as providing kick ass care ourselves..

Participation in the teaching program is an essential part of how we operate, and while it’s your choice to op out of that, we may not be able to continue care if you choose not to have students involved. Teaching is baked in to every part of our process and it' may not always be possible to accommodate a student-free experience.

  • Getting a psych eval with us does NOT automatically mean you’ll become a patient here.

Sometimes, we might feel like you’d be better off with a higher level of care than we can give. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure to point you towards programs that may be a better fit.

If we think we’re a good match, we’ll lay out some recommendations for your treatment.

If you’re not on board with the plan, that’s okay too. You should be working with a provider whose approach feels right for you. No hard feelings if that’s not us.

We do have some basic expectations for all of our patients:.

    • We expect you to show up for appointments

    • Answer our calls or messages

    • Pay your bills on time

    • Take your meds as prescribed

    • Be honest with us about your story, your situation, and your needs.

If things aren’t working out and we need to part ways, don’t stress: we’ll make sure you’ve got enough medication refills (usually about a month’s worth) to give you time to find a new provider.

  • We take your privacy seriously, no question about it. We stick to all the HIPAA rules to keep your health info locked down and secure.

Everything from your records to your appointments is handled through HIPAA-compliant systems, so whether we’re scheduling, messaging, or sharing documents, your info stays protected.

Basically, your details stay between us, just like it should be.
